96%. That’s right. 96% of all the kids who have been enrolled in Communities in Schools (CIS) drop out prevention programs graduate high school. That’s—give or take—1,248,000 kids nationwide, and growing!
Is it any wonder with results like these that Walker Furniture chose to partner with CIS and help teens in the Clark County School District not only graduate from high school but develop the necessary skills that allow them to use their high school accomplishments as a launching pad to continue to achieve their future academic and professional goals.
Twenty-five years! That’s a long time for a company, even one as deeply rooted in the community as Walker Furniture, to consistently and generously open their heart and their pocketbook to anyone, let alone to #? families over the years.
Yet 2018 marks the twenty-fifth year “Home for the Holidays,” Walker Furniture’s flagship good will philanthropic effort, has supplied entire housefuls of new furniture to Las Vegans in need.
Across the country, there will be about 15,000 fireworks displays to celebrate the 4th of July. Smaller towns spend start at about $8,000 and cities like Boston will spend about $2.5 million on their celebration.
But how about Las Vegas? We do everything big here right?
We believe, where you buy your furniture from matters.
The selection, the price, the experience you have. Furniture is a unique product, you bring it into your home and it lives your life with you. Furniture is personal.
