SHOP UPHOLSTERY TECH
The position is responsible for performing repair and restoration process of assembled furniture. The Upholstery Technician will be required to perform minor mechanical repairs, hand sewing and minor leather repairs.
Successful candidate will be experienced in color matching, blending and finish duplication, Must have working knowledge of various products including heat irons, vinyl compounds, molding paper, leather pigment and coatings. Must have at least 1-2 years of experience working with mechanisms, pre-cut and sewn material panel replacement and repair, color matching, blending and finish duplication. Have a working knowledge of various hand tools including sanders, graters and repair knives. Wood repair experience a plus.
